C++ Asgards Wrath 2 VR v5186 (God Mode, No Cooldown, Increased Loot)

  • Hello everyone, the site is currently under construction. Please wait while we are re-indexing our mods on to the ByteUs forum. Thank you.
it keeps crashing after the initial logo screen after I uninstalled apk and reinstalled. The obb was downloaded from rookie. I think the apk needs to be fixed

i tapped on update but it says fille conficts with existing package. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall?
You need to do the obb trick. We have a guide for that in the tutorial section. Use your brain and simple logic and you'll see that the APK does not need to be fixed, as proved by all the people above you PLAYING THE GAME. Lol

yes I did the obb trick i.e. renamed the obb and installed the modded apk. It crashes after the logo screen. The original apk in rookie works. I am guessing it has to do something with the obb downloaded from rookie. It is for the latest version. Is there a possibility can you share the obb on different file sharing host like mediafire, qiwi or gofile, etc?

This is what I did:
* downloaded the latest version from vrp rookie
* Installed the game and copied the obb
* opened the game and saw it work
* downloaded the modded apk and tried to update
* did not work complaining that there is already a package installed with the same bundle id and told me to uninstall the rookie one
* did the obb trick i.e renamed the obb and uninstalled the game
* renamed the obb back to the original
* installed the modded apk fine
* opened the game
*logo screen appeared after sometime and then after few mins crashed and back to oculus home screen. Tried on both quest 2 and 3 several times and same issue

So how to fix it? I am thinking the obb you listed here is a different version than what is on rookie? Did you get the latest obb from rookie ? @Hiyall360

There is absolutely 0 difference in our obb and the one from Rookie. As that's LITERALLY where we grabbed our OBB from. We even grabbed the APK from Rookie and modified it.

The problem is you don't know how to do the obb trick.

Judging by what you just told me, you forgot to rename the obb BACK to normal after installing the mod apk.

The whole point of the obb trick is so that you don't lose the obb files after installing the mod APK.

What's your Discord? Would be easier to talk there in realtime.

Yes, you have to uninstall the the original first. To keep your save follow the OBB renaming procedure in the tutorial. If you keep the original OBBs you do not overwrite with the ones at the top of the page. That part is missing from the tutorial.

thanks for the suggestion. Did you have some progress in the game before you installed the mod. In my case I deleted the original obb and used this one. I dont mind progress being erased. For me when using the rookie apk it says compiling shaders after the initial logo screen and then it starts fine. But using the mod apk it crashes after logo screen so I am guessing for this mod to work you need some progress or save created for it to work

could you share the apk you used to install the game? Maybe something wrong with the one I downloaded here: Wrath2_ByteUs.apk

For me I followed the tutorial but also downloaded the OBB files since the tutorial doesn't say not to when renaming. I come from Android hacking and when someone supplies OBB files you have to implement them along side the others so I figured that's what they were. Come to find out they are 100% 1:1 the same thing. When you have the OBB folder along side the APK it auto installs the OBB files. So I wiped out my save. Oops, live and learn. With this mod I started with no save.

I didn't see this second page of replies earlier. For some dumb reason I keep getting a rate limited message any time I try to click on anything on this site. It's driving me nuts. I have to click on things multiple times to continue.

The list you have up above looks ok except line 2, you don't need to do that. You don't install from Rookie then copy the OBB files. So it sounds like you have no save now. Just delete the entire game and make sure there are no "com.Sanzaru.Wrath2" folders in either data or OBB. Then install the APK from this site and make sure the "com.Sanzaru.Wrath2" folder with OBB files in it is next to the APK.

The way your game is loading it sounds like you have bad OBB files. I would also redownload everything.

These sizes are from Windows Properties, not Explorer:

Wrath2_ByteUs.apk - 88.5MB
com.Sanzaru.Wrath2 Folder With OBB Files - 31GB and 83 files

I used the obb from this site and yes it is 31gb and game works fine i.e. starts with the rookie apk but not with modded apk using the same obb so obb is not the issue. does it matter what quest software update you are on? Also did you get compiling shaders with the modded apk?

" Then install the APK from this site and make sure the "com.Sanzaru.Wrath2" folder with OBB files in it is next to the APK" I thought obb should be in the Android/obb folder
I have like this Androiod>obb->com.Sanzaru.Wrath2

" When you have the OBB folder along side the APK it auto installs the OBB files" what program you used to install? Is it rookie sideload or some launcher in the quest? like lighning launcher. Where do I get that?

Yes to compiling shaders. I use Rookie to install everything. Just drag and drop the APK onto the Rookie. Rooking will say it's installing then shortly after it'll tell you it's copying over the OBB files provided they are in the right place. People love WiFi but I have a 5Gb internet connection and 20Gb USB so I just use Rookie. So much easier than trying to use the Quest to download everything.

Pro Tip, change your Quest sleep timer to 5 minutes so when it's compiling shaders you can just set the quest down instead of staring at it.

thanks for all the tips. I used rookie this time to sideload the apk and then copy the obb but the same issue it crashes after the logo and no compiling shaders appears. Do you need a vip license or something for this mod? Just curios.
When installing the original apk provided by rookie the compiling shaders show up after a dark screen and it works. Issue is when using the apk. btw I noticed that this apk is smaller than the one provided by rookie.

btw what is the software update version for your quest? I am thinking that could be an issue

Looks like I am not the only one with this issue. I did the same like you did @ISOHaven i.e uninstalled everything and used rookie to install both the modded apk and it automatically installed the obb. But it crashes based on my previous comments. If there is any other update I will try again. For now I spent so many days/nights to get this mod work lol :((
